SHORTLY BEFORE THE RELEASE OF BESTIARY …

… a conversation (on e-mail) has started about the next CHRONOMETER outing: this time I hope actually to manage a full collaboration with Michael Hinton and John Mercer.  I have sent a mathematical/philosophical theme to John and Michael for their initial consideration, and we we are just setting off on some general thinking as to how we shall make this work.  The plan is to have the tracks ready for release in March or April 2017.

It is still amazing to me that one can work on recorded music at a distance, sharing and developing pieces together, but apart in three different studios. However, we shall start with a common concept, converse regularly and mix and master together.

This graphic on the right is a reminder of John’s exciting solo show of sculptures and drawings, WORMWOOD which was, of course, the inspiration for CHRONOMETER number three.
