IT TOOK LONGER …
… than we thought to finish LONGITUDE. Indeed, though we rushed a mix and mastering, they weren’t really up to scratch (origin of that phrase?) and we have arranged to spend another couple of days on the work at the end of this month. At least we now have everything ready for the mix, and I expect that we’ll be done by September. Ideas are there for the cover, but – again – not ready yet.
Otherwise, Megg and I are about to embark on the second draft of DRUMMER BOY. We went through the first draft last week and were happy that it still made very good sense to us: we think it’s going to be a powerful as well as enjoyable piece.
For this blog’s photograph: the new tree and plant collection now proudly standing outside my (still nearly new) studio.
